Weird pplz..
So today i had waffles for lunch. Haha.. Yea i only had one piece of chocolate waffles from Prima Deli. So there was this girl who made the waffles. There was a few ppl queueing before me lah. So i see.. she make and make waffles. All very nice but all is for the other ppl who queued infront. But when its my turn.. the waffles is kinda chao tar. No la. Its just over cooked i think. But its still edible lah. I think she forgot to look after my waffles coz theres 4 waffle makers! But the thing is, she quickly took out the waffles. Real quick. Thinking that i didnt see lah. Then she quickly spread the chocolate. I think she panicked until she put too much of the chocolate fillings! Haha. But its good! Then she quickly put into the bag. Then she smiled at me like i didnt see the whole thing. Bleah. But its ok la. I like crispy waffles anyway. Haha.

Wee~
So yesterday i had this bbq session with my tennis team mates. =) My first ever time joining them for any event. Because it was held at my sch. Mwahaha. But i came late at abt 7.30 pm because of my SIP (sigh). But it was ok.
The bbq was quite fun in a way. The food is like normal. Sausages and chicken wings and everything. So, the guys were like being yellow-minded. Haha. So Jon was like saying "This sausage looks familiar. I've seen it before somewhere." Then matthew said "In the toilet?" Mwahaha.
Then...Jon and Haziq went on to play soccer. As in just kicking the balls to each other.But Haziq is holding a plate with a sausage on it. Then haziq said "My sausage is rolling around!" Jon said "Which sausage?" Mwahaha..
Knvm. So i forgot to take pictures. Maybe can request from Andrea! Or matthew the photographer. Hehe.. So til then!

F*ck it man
I really had it with my mentors. Especially EL! U think u're so good isit..bleah~
This morning i tried doing the DNA extraction using saliva samples. My saliva! Sigh. That is upon request by my supervisor lah. So, this is just a trial la. To see how's the DNA yield. BEcause LK and EL never done it before.
So, beforehand, like a few days back LK gave a protocol to me la. Then, today, i started the extraction. Ive read the protocol a zillion times la. Then, EL started scolding me. Said i never read the protocols properly. She also accused of not having initiative. Bleah. U noe y. Coz she discovered another protocol. The initial protocol that LK gave me was for 0.5ml saliva. But EL found a protocol for 4 ml. So she accused me for not having any initiative to find out or confirm whether the protocol that LK gave me is the correct one. First of all, how would i noe theres another protocol? Because thats what LK gave me what and i supposed its correct lor. Secondly, how am i suppose to find out. I dun have computer/internet access? And i didnt have the time coz u always give me unrelated things to do during work. Bleah~
She kept saying its my project and they cant be spoon-feeding me everytime. And who's the one who helped u to do PCR and ran gel for ur THBSO study samples?? (LK's research project). I did that everyday with no complaints. Even though its LK's project. Sian.
Btw, they also said they are busy and no time for me. Busy with chatting? I always see them so free. Chatting abt. This morning busy sharing and looking at pictures of their dinner and dance held last friday. Laughing abt. So thats what u guys always busy with huh? I see...
When those times u can actually teach me or something. BUt nvm~ now i dun have anyone to turn to. I have to rely on my protocol only. If i ask my mentors, they will complain. Bleah~~ #@%^#!!!

Hey!!
So yesterday actually i went to queensway shopping centre. My aim was to buy a new pair of tennis shoes. Coz my old tennis shoes worn out to the max and theres like a big hole on the soles (the top part). When u wear it to play, ur socks will have holes. (Yes, theres holes on my socks already). I actually wanted to buy it like last week. But i was very lazy. Hahaha.
So, i didnt know what shoes to choose. I wanted to buy the wilson shoes. Coz, the plus point abt it is that its cheap. U can get it ard $50-70. But then again, when i think abt durability and comfort, i would definitely go for adidas. Since previously i was using adidas barricade IV, now i decided to buy the updated version, which is the adidas barricade V. Wee~ So yea i bought it. But the price is definitely not inexpensive. Before discount its $195. Tsk3! But after discount it costs $136. yea. So Since i have a lil bit of income, i didnt mind forking out for it.
So yea, i cant wait to use the shoes!!!

Yes! I won Weixiang 6-1, 6-1 . Sweet revenge. But anywayz its just a friendly game.
Anywayz, i restrung my racq with my usual strings. Last time i played with him.. omg.. i totally couldnt play with the strings. Hence, the strings does matter. :)
Gonna have my ladder match against Dylan Tan tmr evening!!! Hope the weather will be great and im able to win! :) WIsh my luck :)

YAY! ITs the weekends!!
But this weekend is a LONG WEEKEND!! Woot.
So yea. SIP is becoming more and more boring. My supervisor is like..omg.. dunno what to say abt her la. She always say i havent prepared for my project. Im still waiting! Everyday i do things thats like not related to my project. Sigh. Like fill pipette tips, stock take, extraction from blood. My project is abt DNA extraction from saliva! Sigh. And after that i have to do PCR and sequencing. I still havent learn how to do DNA sequencing! Sigh~~~~~
And the worst thing ever. I havent start my proposal. Coz its like, i have no time. I only can work on it during weekends. Sigh~~~
Ok why am i even talking abt SIP during weekends!
So my brother will be going to Taiwan like next morning. AS in 2 am tmr morning. Tsk3. He will be going for 3 weeks!!

Hey
So a few days back i had the weirdest dream ever! Hahaa
K so this is how it goes. I went to this food place. Looks like coffee bean or smth la. So i went to this counter. U noe who's the person taking my order?? Its EL!! So i was like...ok.. So i wanted one drink la. Which costs like 80 cents. But she kinda promote another drink. It was stated there that the drink was $1.30. So.. ok.. i decided to choose that $1.30 drink instead. BUt somehow or rather, when she keyed in the price, it became $50. So i was like omg. Then i checked my wallet. Omg! Not enough money. I only have $20. So I asked her to wait, while i go around to search for money. Haha.
But suddenly i met my brother. So i asked from him. But he only have $10. Sigh... Then.. i met my SIP supervisor! Hahaha.. so random.. So i wanted to borrow from her but she only have $15. Haha.. Crap.. $5 left. So, i quickly went back home and take my money lor. Then when i came back with the money, EL was angry. She said why i took so long? Then i told her off in an angry tone also. I said i went to take money blah blah.. Then finally i shouted "What the hell!!" at her. Hahaha.....
Ok thats it. Lol

Sigh. I dunno if theres a curse or smth. This is the umpteenth time i tried arranging two sessions/matches in a day throughout the years. But somehow or rather, nature will always get in the way. I dunno y. Its weird but its true. I never ever successfully played tennis twice a day! Omgoodness. Even today, i had that feeling that its gonna rain on one of my session. And its true! Grrr.. But i was hoping it rained in the morning not in the evening! Coz evening i got my ladder match. Noo.. Have to postpone again.T_T. I dunno when i can finish it. If its not bcoz of my SIP! I would have finished it long time ago. Sigh........

Hey.
Pitied LK! She had to work extra time on Friday. Friday is her busy day la. Coz she had to do tissue repository every friday. But yesterday she had to work extra extra. She supposed to go back at 5 pm. But im guessing that she went home at 6 pm. Coz i had to leave at 5.45 pm when i supposed to back at 5.30 pm. But at 5.45 pm she is still doing tissue repository. Pity her. She was panicking everytime. U noe what happened. She wanted to take the tissue repository file inside the cupboard but it was locked. So while opening the cupboard, she i dunno how broke the key! And the key stucked inside the thing. Next, there was a girl using the centrifuge machine. But LK in a hurry, accidentally switched it off halfway! But luckily, the centrifugation process is done. Pity her. She had to rush here and there. Pity her!

Hey there
So, my house is spooky. No la. Its my neighbour's house i think. Theres always this noise like knocking sound coming from upstairs. Haha. Sometimes, my parents said they heard a loud thud when there's no one in the house upstairs. It is freaky. I also heard marbles in the middle of the nite. Tsk3. Infact, my neighbour who lived directly above me has recently moved out. Now theres a new owner. But ive never seen the owner b4. But then again, same noise came from above. Weird but true. Hmmm..
That aside.. so i heard this story. Its funny. U noe my neighbour who lives in the 1st storey. U noe what he did. He acted as though he is crazy. As in, like a crazy person so that he didnt have to go for NS. Omg. And it worked! He was exempted from NS. Weird! How can u just act like a mad person and got exempted? They should have done some tests or something rite? Tsk3.
So, get this, i am lighter than my brother. I lost so much weight. I am now 55 kg. And my brother is 56 kg. Haha. Ok 1 kg. I used to wear size 32. Now, even size 30 is big. Tsk3. Omg. Whats happening to me?? Then my parents would call me "anorexic". Grrrr...
So my brother's coming home tml! And he will be on a long weekend Sat-Tue. Coz he's going Taiwan!! Sadz.. For 3 weeks. Tsk. But its good for him. Yea. :)

Hahaha.
Ok stop talking abt EL anymore la. She was on leave from Mon-Wed. Haha. And tmr she will be back! No!!!
Anyway had fun with LK. She likes to make jokes! Farny..(unlike EL.. hmph!)
So actually, other than SIP, i also had my tennis ladder matches. Hehe.. Won my match against Aaron Ng 6-2, 6-3! =). And jus now i was in the midst of winning a match against Wilson but suddenly the lights went off! basket-ball. I was so called leading 6-3, 5-5. Haha. Gonna resume it soon.
But i was really tired man. I think i didnt have enough rest. I felt lethargic and restless everytime. Esp at work! Sianz. I just felt like taking an MC for one day or smth. Haiz.. SO gonna sleep now!! cant take it anymore! Bye!!

Brr. Im gonna complain abt the ppl at my workplace again. They are very non-understanding ppl. Sigh.~~ Besides, EL always trying to find my fault. DNA purification from cheek cells requires a particular kit. But LK told EL that it requires buffer and so on. But no. It only require the DNA extraction solution provided by the kit. So this is how it goes
LK to EL: The kit only have the brush what.
EL to LK: *points to protocol* There! It contains the DNA extraction solution.
LK to EL: Oh.. I thought it requires buffer and so on
EL to LK: No.. who said that? Faiz ah?
Faiz: -_-" (Why am i inlcuded in the picture??)
There was a lot of time that LK made mistakes such as didnt cover the gel tray and label wrongly. Then EL can accuse me? No la but she always ask whether I was the one who did it. Bleah~~~
So i lost to Weixiang 6-0, 6-7, 2-6. Oopz. its the first time i lost to him. Itchy itchy. Havent played singles match for 1 month plus! Plus, my strings sux. I totally cant play with it.It hurts my arms so much and its very low powered. Sigh. Im gonna re string it again. So yea. Well~ No excuses. Weee~~~~~ gonna have my ladder match soon!! This monday. Hope the weather will be good!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!!

Hey
I forgot to update abt my cat. Yea. She is feeling well already. =) She's back to her usual behaviour.. =) Yea. We took her to the vet on that day.. She was diagnosed with fever and flu. The fur might due to flea and mites? Last time, my black cat (blackie) was the one suffering from the same disease. Infact worse. Coz his body is like almost no fur. Even his face and ears fur. But now he is fully recovered. However now my other cat is suffering from it. SIgh.
But the point is, we have to send them for vaccination regularly. (We were supposed to send them for vaccination on a regular basis but we didnt) I think annually? But nvm~
Ok so i feel like running away from SIP!! Sigh. Suffering In Progress (SIP). Nvm~~ I noe most ppl dun feel the way i feel. Sigh.

Omg. Im so hating EL rite now. SHe's being so unreasonable. Sigh.
U noe i always come to work at 8.15 am and end at 5.45 pm during my fasting period. And i sought permission from my supervisor la. But now fasting month is over. But i still come at 8.15am and end at 5.45 pm without my supervisor's permission. But i thought she is ok with it. COz she's nice. Haha. But then, EL said i cant. I must seek my supervisor's permission first. But the prob is, my supervisor is on a long leave now. Sian. Then everyday i have to go back at 6 pm!! until god knows when! LK was ok with me going back at 5.45pm but EL became stern and firm on her decision. Sigh... Oh come on! Its only 15 mins!! And during that 15 mins also i did nth! Sigh.

Yea. Tennis is here once again. But im rusty already. Need to play more hehe..
So yesterday, me and my family went to visiting!! So we planned to travel to the west and north side. So yea. First and foremost, we had to fetch my brother! At Pasir Laba camp. Hahaha. YEa. So straight after that we went to my im-not-really-sure-who's house. Its at clementi. Yea. Then we went to Jurong west.
Then off we went to my dad's younger brother's house at woodlands. A jumbo house. I like the house.. damn big. Its like u can play hide and seek. Haha. Well not that huge la. Juz that it has alot of rooms. Haha
Next, we went to causeway point. Haha. Coz! My sis needed to buy a cake at swensens for her friends birthday the next day (which is today). Yea, so after that we headed to Marsiling where my father's elder brother lives. So yea.. That wrapped up the day. We reached back home at about 10.15 pm. Haha. And we were very very tired. zzzzzz

Yayness!
On Thurs i went for my first tennis training!!! :D:D
Well, its a totally different atmosphere. Coz most of the ppl there are like juniors. And im like the senior down there. Theres a few seniors out there too such as Sam. Hahaha. But it was fun.!
But before that, me Sam and Malcolm met up to string racquets. My racquet's string is like so dead. And the tension dropped til 45 lbs i think. I totally cant play with that string no more. So i was thinking to string with Almerick. But almerick is like forever busy. And its like i need it urgently. SO yea, i wasnt expecting to string at Beng Chuan. (Textile centre). I realised many TP students went there to string coz got discount. Every strings max $20. Which is like darn cheap can. And the stringer is damn fast. Can string one racq in 15 mins!
So yea after that, we went training. We reached there at abt 6.45pm. Which is pretty late. Hehehe. BUt nvm. We played matches. :D I was surprised that i was able to play well. The first match i partnered Ryan and we won 6-0. Second match a bit tough. I partnered Sam against Malcolm and Ryan. We were down 5-3. Last match me and JC leading 3-1 when it rained!!! Sianz. We were like on the verge of winning the devil. Coz u noe, me and JC's opponent, one of them is Jared or sumthing. He is like wtfreak. He hits the ball freaking hard. U noe what? I was at the net then he whack one ball right at me! And its like damn freaking fast. Luckily i blocked the ball with my racq. If not i would die. Haha..
K so yea, Hari Raya has reached the climax i guess. Now its mere visiting days. Which is gonna be boring. Coz we are all working and stuff. Can only go out on weekends. Yea.. Sigh..
