Hey!
Im back from SISPEC!! First book out! Wootz.
Firstly i have to say, im glad to be back. Haha. It has been a rough week. First day itself was very hectic and chaotic. Furthermore i had a bad headache on that day. hence i wasnt feeling very well. But subsequent days was quite okay i should say. I got more familiarised with everything and made friends with my section mates. All i have to say is my bunk mates are great ppl. :)
Oh ya i forgot to mention that im from Kilo company. Yayness. All of BMT Taurus platoon 2 peeps were all posted there. Haha. So cool.
By the way i had IPPT categorisation test yesterday. Those who failed to get silver or gold will have to book out today as they will be having corrective training. Those who got silver and gold book out yesterday night at 7.30pm. So, i really pushed myself since i have been slacking for 2 weeks!! And it was really a struggle. I kinda deproved a bit. And also my whole body aching especially my thighs and quadriceps because previous days i got weapon drills. haha. but nonetheless, i got silver!! yay. 2.4 km run was definitely the killer for me. Because i could hardly walk. But at the back of my mind i told myself that book out is waiting for me at the end. So i had to motivate and push myself. And it really worked. I managed to get silver timing. :):)
So my results:-
Chin ups: 8 (3)
Sit ups: 40 (5)
Shuttle run: 9.8 (5)
Standing broad jump: 234 cm (4)
2.4 km run: 11??

Hey
So finally! Yesterday me and my section 3 peeps met up. Well not the whole section though. Only me, Sherwin, Jun Ming, Ian, Daniel and Jonathan. Lol. Like less than half of the whole section. Sigh. Disappointing. But nvm. And its a shame we didnt take pictures. :(
So we met up for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market at Marina Square. =)) So its my first time there but its similar to fish & co. tho. And again i ordered salmon. Lol. But no doubt its nice. Especially the fries. The fries and tartar sauce are to die for! haha.
So after that we headed to no man's land. Lol. We couldnt decide where to go. But finally we decided to chill at esplanade while listening to some music at 10 pm. At that time i was already super sleepy. Haha. So we kinda chatted abit before making our way back home at about 11 plus. Sigh. Thats it :((
And btw, im posted to SISPEC! wee~~ I knew it. Its gd in a way coz my brother was from SISPEC so i can find out more from him. =)) So i have to report to Pasir Laba Camp this tues at 8-8.30 am. Sianz.

Woot. A post from me again!
Anywayz. This morning, i baked Famous Amos cookies. For Hari Raya though. I love baking. But its boring though coz ive been making this cookies every year. I would love to try others but then again this cookies is a must! Its everyone's favourite. ;) So, i started in the morning at about 9 am. And guess what. I managed to finish everything by 1 pm. Woot. Its a simple recipe anyway. And, if u wanna see pix, u can go back to my last year's post. hahaha. its the same.
Thats aside, i did try to make something new! I tried a recipe called Chocolate Pistachio Fudge. Which is a recipe from Nigella Lawson. Anyway, i love Nigella Lawson. She is awesome. And u noe what? My Chocolate Pistachio Fudge was a success! Its so simple. It only requires 15 mins of my time to complete everything. Its simple and heaven in everyone's mouth. Lol. I love it, everyone loves it. Anyway, i did this just to try out if its nice. In future days, ill definitely make more of these or maybe even for Hari raya. ;) Its simply irresistable.

Hey!
Hari Raya is just around the corner! Woot. And as usual, im really looking forward to it! Unfortunately, the start of hari raya also marks the start of my journey in the army yet again. T_T
So on sunday, i went out shopping! With my family. My brother and me intended to buy some clothes for hari raya. We already bought our baju kurung like earlier on during ramadhan. So we now looking for casual/smart clothes. So we went to Vivocity. Didnt noe why we ended up there. We planned to just go tampines one. haha. But nvm
So we managed to buy a shirt from Zara. And i got myself a pair of jeans from Levi's. And, in addition to the Zara shirt, my brother bought a polo tee which is awesomely nice from Topman. And of course, the price is also very nice. The thing is, both of us dont have to buy a lot. Because, at the end of the day, we will still wear each other's. Haha. Coz our shirt size and pants size are exactly the same! We even shared shoes! Come on! HAHA.
So, after our trip to vivo! We still proceeded to our plan to go Tampines one. We walked up and down and i bought myself another pair of jeans and another shirt from Messy boutique. I really love the boutique. It really has a lot of nice cool clothes and bags. And the thing is, the price is not expensive at all! Unlike topman and such. Btw i bought white jeans though since i dont have any. =). My brother always buy the good things. Grr.. I really envy him. But i dont have to since i can wear them too! Mwahahaha. Im evil. But nvm. Anyway, as i was saying, my brother bought a pair of grey jeans which is super nice.
So after that, i was really hoping that my brother would buy a pair of shoes coz hes really in love with this one shoe and it looked as if he could buy it anytime. but unfortunately he didnt. Sigh. but thats okay. So, thats the end of our shopping spree! And we broke fast in the evening with Pizza Hut! We bought from the restaurant and took away. We didnt order coz we knew it would take ages. So yea. :):)

Hey!
On Wednesday guess what i did? I painted my house. Mwaaha. Me and dad painted the hall area of the house. Its so tiring! This is all my mom's idea. Grrr. She wanted the house to be newly painted. And bcoz of that, me and dad became the victim of the sufferring. Lol. The process is so troublesome. Firstly, we had to pick a colour. Which took us ages! Finally decided on light yellow and dark orange. Then, we had to buy the paint. Then u might think thats it. U can start painting. No!
First, the most tedious job is to shift the furnitures around! And take out all hanging objects on the wall. Grrrrr. Then have to put newspaper all over the floor and stick masking tape at edges of wall. Sigh. After which, then we can start to paint. But we have to first coat it with the white paint first lor. Then we paint 2 coats of the coloured paint. We started at 1.30 pm and ended about 1 am. Woot. Now my quadriceps hurt so bad. Coz i kept squatting and standing. But overall result is outstanding. I wasnt expecting it to turn out that good. :)

NOOOOO!!!!!!Now im at home. Coz i got att c or MC. Sian. I have been having fever since morning. I woke up with the temperature of 38.2 degrees. But i just book into camp because my intention was not to miss the POP. Sigh. Ive trained so hard for it. Oh come on. Sigh. Im so unlucky. Then i was told to visit the medical centre since my fever is quite high. Infact it increases to 38.8 degrees.Sigh. I feel terrible rite now. With headache and all. Sigh. But maybe its a good thing? BEcause, i dont think im able to tahan the harsh 24 km route march and the grueling POP parade in such a condition im in now. Sigh. Oh wells. I didnt have the chance to say gd bye to my beloved section mates! Im so emo now lah can. Sigh.

Hey..
Im left with 2 days more before POP!!!!!!!! Woot. Mixed feelings. Im sad firstly because ive been thru thick and thin with my section and platoon mates. And now ill be leaving them. Im gonna miss them loadz!!! T_T. Im happy finally i get a break from hell! Im very happy to get through those tough times! Its really an accomplishment. Anyway, Taurus company is the best! Sigh. Gonna miss the pre-dawn meal and break fast meal. Gonna miss simply everything.
The highlights of BMTC:-
First day of enlistment was definitely nerve-wrecking. Haha. The first four weeks, i went thru the Physical Training Phase. Which was okay. Following that was the hand grenade throw. Which was a heart-pounding event. It was closely followed by field camp which was the hell of BMTC. After the field camp, there was Live Firing. Which was fun. Haha. Followed by Urban Operations. Which was fun too. But tiring. Then i had IPPT and SOC. SOC (standard obstacle course) was the most shag thing ever but at the same time its quite fun. Its like an adult playground. OK that doesnt sound right. Haha. So overall, it has been a very meaningful experience here at BMTC sch 2. For other ppl who's enlisting soon, i wish u best of luck. Its gonna be fun. ;))
